Earth Day, Every Day — Make a Difference!

From Church to Home to Community

St. John's United Church of Christ practices sustained stewardship through our philosophy of "Earth Day, Every Day — from church to home to community." It is our goal to promote enviromental awareness for our members and our community neighbors through our ongoing practices of sustainable living, caring for the earth, and environmental stewardship throughout the year. Learn more!

St. John's also received the 2004 Faith in Action Environmental Excellence Award. Thank you to all who help with the many recycling projects and for being wise stewards of God's good earth.

Drop off your rinsed aluminum cans in the new blue aluminum recycle bin by the paper bin. Keep bringing those old newspapers and other recyclable paper for the paper recycle bin. St. John's also has a bin for recycling old phone books. You may recycle old cell phones and ink jet cartridges by placing them in a box in the office entry.
