Men's Fellowship page header

St. John’s Men's Fellowship provides an opportunity for men to gather together to learn how to apply God's word to today's fast-paced world.

There are three different aspects of Men's Fellowship, and members may participate in any one, or all three:

Wednesday mornings at 6:30 am

Bread of Life

In John 3:16, Jesus says to his disciples, "...I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst..."

The Men's Fellowship serves up this bread every Wednesday morning, along with doughnuts and coffee. Any man who is at least 18 years of age is welcome. It is a life-changing, life-saving habit.

Ask any of the regulars and they'll tell you of the presence of the Holy Spirit among us, as we learn to apply the lessons of the Bible to today's fast-paced world with its contemporary problems.

Missions and Outreach

Men's Fellowship's main mission is the sponsorship and continual support of Reverend Dr. Seth Agidi's Shepherd's Center of Ghana. This program provides much-needed medical checkups, transportation and community outreach to Ghana's aged, who are marginalized as the country becomes more and more westernized. Our Brother organization is the Men's Fellowship of Sekondi-Takoradi in Ghana, who we support through donations of funds in their mission of supporting a Children's Hospital in Takoradi, Ghana. Call the church office if you would like to donate to this truly worthy mission!

We also support St. John's Mission Ministry Team, Evangelism Ministry Team, Worship Ministry Team, and other local church activities as needed.

Annual Retreat

Each year, usually in early Spring, we visit Shannondale (near the Current River) for a weekend retreat consisting of fun, fellowship, and a little bit of mission work, normally fixing whatever needs to be fixed at the Shannondale facility. And the food is GREAT!
